There is more to Egypt than the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Nile and Cleopatra. The remains of history here span five millennia - from the ancestors of the pyramids in Saqqara to the magnificent tombs and temples of Luxor to the giant statues of Ramesses II in Abu Simbel to the arrival of Christianity and then Islam. On our #EyeOnEgypt tour, we travel the length of the Nile, from Cairo to Abu Simbel and back, to unravel the mysteries of this ancient land.

A communications professional, Aanchal discovered her calling in classical Indian dance forms and developed a passion for heritage. She loves to make the hearts of her guests dance to the tunes of Mumbai’s melodic stories.

Adithi

Bollywood made Mumbai a love story Adithi couldn’t resist. Even though she’s studying for an MBA degree, she’d rather miss classes to show others the “city of dreams,” one lively street at a time!

Aditi

An education researcher by profession, Aditi is back home in her beloved Mumbai after being away for 11 years, and is excited to rediscover its many secrets with visitors as well as other Mumbaikars.

Aditya

Aditya is a Political Science student and has always been very intrigued and passionate about the city, its architecture, history and the many stories that accompany it. He likes to meet new people and have conversations with them about Mumbai and other things.

Aditya

Aditya has lived all over India and travelled to a few countries but the one city he finds solace in is Mumbai. A supply chain transformation professional during the week, he turns history buff on the weekend and loves to take people around his adopted city.

Ajay

Ajay chanced upon Mumbai’s fascinating history and heritage by a happy accident. Along with being a venture capital investor, he also invests his passion for the city’s beautiful stories by sharing them with others.

Aniket

Aniket is a lawyer practising at the Bombay High Court. Originally from Pune, he fell in love with Mumbai because of a Khaki tour and now he makes sure the city casts its spell on the people he hosts.

Anvesha

Anvesha is a student and also a passionate photographer and cinematographer. When she is not capturing compelling stories through her lens, she is telling compelling stories about her city.

Anvi

Anvi is a Spanish language expert, and a former Ambassador of India in the US as Rotary Youth Exchange Student. After travelling across the globe, she now finds joy in representing the city she grew up in to become an ambassador of its stories.

Aparna

Aparna has brought to life many tales as a former HR Professional and a mother of three girls. She will now bring to life for you the hidden tales of Mumbai.

Arnavaz

Having worked professionally with NGOs that cater to the educational needs of underprivileged children, Arnavaz has a knack for unfolding her city’s hidden stories to visitors and fellow citizens, along with traveling and seeking new experiences.

Arun

Arun was born to be a historian, traveller and a story teller, and even though destiny propelled him into medicine instead, he totally believes in pursuing his other interests. So here he is, sharing his city with fellow travellers.

Ashwin

An architect and urban designer by training, Ashwin designs buildings, interiors and graphics with a flourish of his pen. And vivid experiences for travellers with a flourish of his moustache.

Bharat

Bharat used to promote furniture, chemicals and real estate as a marketing professional. He now markets the city’s heritage as a passion project after founding Khaki Tours.

Chetan

Chetan has spent a lifetime looking at gleaming jewellery and diamonds in the rough. It's fitting that he now shares gems of the city's history and heritage with you.

David

David hails from the US state of New Hampshire, but has made Mumbai his home for the past 15 years. A management consultant by profession, he is fascinated by the city’s history and the collage of people and communities who have built the metropolis we enjoy today.

Durga

Durga is a media industry explorer by trade and a history nerd by passion. While she believes in embracing different paths (who knows, she might be conducting a walk today and filming a documentary tomorrow!), her love for Mumbai is constant.

Faredoon

Faredoon is a theatre persona, corporate trainer, certified Yoga meditation instructor and now an Ambasador of Mumbai. He brings all these abilities to the fore to bring out the best in people and situations.

Fayeza

A banker by profession but a story teller at heart, Fayeza is most thrilled to share the stories of this beautiful city. Her take? History is rarely straightforward; usually, it’s as twisted as her curls!

Hiral

Hiral is a Cognitive Science Researcher who loves to talk about all things brain and behaviour! On weekends though, she loves to narrate stories from her life and Mumbai.

Indranil

Indranil is an investment banker, though he would rather research history and tell stories instead. Happily, that’s what he does on weekends with Khaki.

Jimmy

Jimmy is a professional photographer. When he’s not capturing frames, he’s either cooking or telling tales of the city.

Juzer

Juzer is both, a marketing professional and a history buff. He loves experiencing different parts of the world, including his own city Mumbai, and on top of his bucket list is a desire to travel to 100 cities before he turns 100.

Kaevan

For a writer and film-maker, Kaevan is, surprisingly, a man of few words. Except when he’s sharing his knowledge about the city to residents and visitors alike.

Mrunmayee

A social science teacher and travel and film enthusiast, Mrunmayee loves unfolding the stories and rich heritage of Mumbai finding connections between the guests and the city, making it relevant to each one.

Mujtaba

On weekdays, Mujtaba is a Fintech wizard, navigating codes and algorithms; on weekends, he’s your gateway to Mumbai, navigating you through streets and past street vendors on adventures through the city.

Nayana

Nayana is an art historian, museologist and all-round heritage enthusiast. Showing people the city is another dimension to what she already does. She loves to explore a place on foot, and unravel its secrets.

Ninad

Ninad is a Navy Veteran, an adventurer, a museologist, a maritime historian and a motivational speaker. He brings all these experiences to the fore as he regales travellers with his yarns of the city and the sea.

Navin

Navin used to be a banker but took a break to pursue other interests. He fell in love with learning about the city and now shares its stories with interested folks.

Omkar

For Omkar, life is about stories, be it at work or on the streets of Mumbai. He is a Mumbaikar who is here to narrate Mumbai's tale.

Palak

Palak is a budding entrepreneur and travel enthusiast who loves to explore new places and cultures. In her free time, she helps others explore Mumbai and its culture.

Parag

On weekdays, Parag is a management consultant, crafting compelling stories for CXOs through PowerPoint presentations. On weekends, he dons his Khaki shirt to become an Ambassador of Mumbai, sharing captivating tales around historic places.

Pankaj

Spends weekdays looking forward in time at Budgets and Forecasts as a CA. On weekends, he travels back in time to study History and Heritage. In between, he loves talking to friends about these topics.

Parineeta

A conservation architect by training, Parineeta has taken to her adopted city like a fish to water. Her love for storytelling and travelling comes in handy when she is regaling the guests with gems of stories from Mumbai.

Parvez

Parvez is a Public Relations professional, so it is but natural for him to strike conversations and forge ties with travellers visiting the city. And true to his profession, he'll leave you looking at Mumbai in a positive light.

Preeti

An anaesthetist who otherwise lulls patients to sleep, in her Ambassador of Mumbai avatar, Preeti livens visitors up with interesting tales from the city’s history.

Priya

Priya is a marketing professional who loves history, and narrating the untold stories of her hometown is her way of giving back to Mumbai, a city that has historically changed the destinies of millions. After all, as she says, “Geography is destiny.”

An Engineer turned Actor who was always fascinated by old buildings, cities, their trees and stories. Being part of Khaki is her best way to delve into the past, not only to learn about it but also share with others.

Rizwan used to be a Sales professional who narrated glib sales pitches to enchant customers. He is now a Communications Coach and Trainer as well as an Ambassador of Mumbai and narrates Mumbai's history to enthrall residents and travellers.

A communications specialist, Rohan loves communicating to visitors the stories that the city hides in its structures. The difficulty is in getting him to stop.

Ruby is a story-teller from the heart who has jumped out of a career of teaching and books onto the streets of Mumbai, with a desire and passion to weave together the rich tapestry of human narratives.

Sagar

Sagar is a marketing communications consultant who manages to find time for his other passions - his love for mixology and his love for Mumbai. No, he doesn’t mix the two together.

Samantha

Once a banker, now a piano teacher, Samantha traded spreadsheets for street maps, diving into the quirks of her beloved city—and now, she happily drag others along for the ride with stories only a local could tell!

Samruddhi

Samruddhi works on weekdays as a banker managing numbers. On weekends however, she dons her Ambassador of Mumbai avatar and revives stories from the past. She merges finance with her love for history, uncovering heritage’s true wealth.

Sheetal

Sheetal is a Chartered Accountant and manages sales campaigns and market sprints during the week. On weekends she campaigns out exploring the city and sharing its stories, secrets and experiences with guests.

Shashank

Shashank is an educator, a passionate photographer and an award-winning documentary filmmaker who endeavours to raise awareness on environmental issues through his photography and films. Along with Mumbai's built heritage, his interest also lies in its flora and fauna.

Siddhesh

Siddhesh is a health-tech professional known among his friends as the go-to history enthusiast. He effortlessly transforms any stroll through Mumbai into a captivating journey through time.

Siddhant

Siddhant is originally from Ahmedabad, the first world heritage city of India. He swapped sides from being a Mumbai heritage admirer (thanks to Khaki walks) to becoming an Ambassador himself, spreading the love for Mumbai's rich heritage one passionate step at a time!

Siddhartha

Siddhartha grew up in a museum where his father was a curator, and so history and heritage run in his veins. A budding lawyer, he is our resident fount for everything related to Hinduism, food, railways and bus transport.

Sudhakar

A sales and marketing professional, Sudhakar, when he is not extracting insights from data, is bringing to life stories around people, places, and buildings of Mumbai for travellers.

Sonali

A storyteller at heart and an avid traveller, Sonali prefers travelling to places steeped in history, like the lanes and bylanes of her own city! She will tell you fascinating stories about Mumbai while she takes you between the then and the now.

Sonali draws a similarity between perfumes and Mumbai, revealing the different notes of the city. As a beauty retail professional, she has an attention to detail and loves to create memories that linger long like the sillage of a perfume.

An Architect,who now lives and practises in Mumbai after a Global soujorn. "It is not enough to love your City to bits,one needs to unfold its myriad of stories and make others fall in love too".

Swati is a mother of three, and so she’s an expert at both, telling stories and engaging kids. While most of the stories she tells at home are tall tales, the stories she'll tell you on our tours are those of her favourite city, Mumbai.

Sultan

Sultan is an actor who brings his passion for storytelling from the stage and the film set on to the streets of Mumbai. He delivers a solo street theatre performance as he narrates Mumbai’s rich history and heritage to his guests on the city’s vibrant streets.

Vasant

Being a retired HR professional, Vasant enjoys narrating stories and connecting with people. He nourishes this quality while conducting walks to engage both tourists and residents in the interesting stories of Mumbai.

Vidula

Vidula is an investment banker, tells stories through numbers on weekdays and through places on weekends. A native of the city for many generations, she is here to make you fall in love with her city.

Vinayak

An HR warrior on weekdays and heritage warrior on weekends, Vinayak is a Delhi-ite who takes great pride in showing their own city to Mumbai-kars. He is our resident expert on the city’s colonial history.
