The Kolis, Mumbai’s hereditary fishing community, are among the earliest inhabitants of the city. Their settlements, Koliwadas, still dot the city’s coastline, erstwhile and present. At our #KoliwadaKrawl walk, we embark on a trail inside Worli Koliwada to uncover not just the community’s lifestyle and culture, as well as the challenges it faces, but also sweeping views of Mumbai’s changing skyline. NOTE: Narali Purnima celebrations will take place on Friday evening. The walk is on Saturday morning to avoid the crowds.
