Following the plague of 1896, the City of Bombay Improvement Trust went about creating planned estates to make the city a more habitable place. The first of them was the little precinct of Nagpada, sandwiched between Byculla and Bhendi Bazar. It also became one of the first cosmopolitan areas of this city. Join us on an exploration of this area that has housed dons, priests, actors and even snakes(!) on our #NewNagpada heritage walk.
