What was the role of women in ancient India? We get an inkling of it in the writings of the time - our scriptures and epics. Author Swaroopa Iyer has studied the feminine journeys of four women from the Mahabharata - Shakuntala, Savitri, Draupadi and Rukmini - to get a closer view and understanding of their roles. At our Online Talk #WomenOfAncientIndia, she highlights the different ways the four women chose their husbands and how their choice played a huge role in their post-marital life.
