A LANDMARK WALK AT A LANDMARK PRICE
The beginnings of the modern city of Mumbai can be traced to the area around the Horniman Circle, what was earlier the Bombay Green. It was the nucleus around which first the British trading post of Bombay, and later the Fort of Bombay developed. It was the hub of trade and commerce, where deals were struck between the British and Indians, and where important city institutions were born and developed. On our #BombayGreen heritage walk, we walk around the Horniman Circle to discover how the modern city of Mumbai evolved.
