A part of land that was once underwater less than three centuries ago transformed into the hub of leisure and entertainment for the city of Bombay in the mid-18th century. Once compared to New York's Times Square, only remnants of its glorious past exist today. On our brand new virtual heritage walk #TheatreDistrict, we explore the history and cosmopolitan geography of this ever-evolving entertainment district of Pila House that gave birth to legends of the film industry.
