At our storytelling workshop #ModernFolklore, performance storyteller and theatre practitioner Vikram Sridhar explores the expressive form of folktales from the lived experience of the urbanized world, and through interactive exercises, theatre games and memory mapping, teaches you to create new tales for today’s times.

About the presenter
Vikram Sridhar strongly believes that ‘A story a day keeps the doctor away…not an apple!’ He has combined his various interests and work over 20+ years in Theatre, Conservation and Social work as a Performance Storyteller and Theatre Practitioner, and has spoken at multiple events like TEDx on the power of stories and theatre. His stories are rooted in folklore, myths and legends inspired from various communities of the soil. He has extensively traveled the country performing and speaking at public spaces, community libraries, schools, corporate offices, business conferences, and literary and cultural festivals for children and adults.
