#InsideCSMVS - Delightful Stories From The Museum
Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) houses around 70,000 different artefacts and a varied collection comprising sculptures, terracottas, bronzes, excavated artefacts from Indus Valley sites, Indian miniature paintings, Indian decorative arts, European paintings and decorative arts, porcelain and ivories from China and Japan, and more. It also has separate sections for Numismatics and Natural History. At our Online Talk #InsideCSMVS, the Museum’s Chief Conservation Consultant Anupam Sah takes us inside the Museum, hand-in-hand on a virtual walk-through, giving us glimpses of some of the aspects and historic works that give this Museum a spirit of its own.
Please note: The event link will be shared a couple of hours before the talk.
